Craig brings over 20 years of motorsport engineering expertise to MB Motorsport. His career started in 2004 working as a composite technician; from there, he moved to Xtrac as an R&D Engineer and eventually joined Red Bull Racing as a Test Engineer, where he worked on chassis, suspension, and aerodynamic-component programmes. Craig has dedicated over a decade to trackside engineering in the British Touring Car Championship, working with several teams and drivers, playing a key part in securing independent drivers’ and team titles in 2019.
In 2020, Craig joined MB Motorsport, and over the subsequent seasons has been vital to the growth and success of the squad. Most notably, he helped the team win the 2024 Drivers Championship, showcasing his technical skill, race-craft insight, and ability to build strong driver-engineer relationships, consistently delivering results on track.
Outside of BTCC weekends, Craig also shares his knowledge by lecturing at London South Bank University and The School of Race Engineering, run by the Motorsport Industry Association, helping to train the next generation of engineers with a strong emphasis on data analysis, car setup, and tyre performance, the core fundamentals he considers essential.
